Homero Contreras
Operations Accounting
Raised on a family farming operation, Homero held a variety of production-oriented positions. In addition to field experience, Homero worked in packing sheds, inventory control and shipping operations working for Apio, Inc., and Frontier Cooling. The past eight years Homero has been part of the administrative team at Apio, Inc and Beachside. He oversees our Operations Accounting Team. He also fills the capacity of Safety Director and Food Safety Audit Coordinator.
Josephine Vasquez
Grower Accounting Lead
Josephine has been in the produce industry for over 10 years. Josephine has held a variety of positions in administration, which include accounts payable supervisor, system implementation, general ledger staff accountant and now grower accounting lead. Her present duties include maintaining, processing, and preparing grower accounting and reports.
Darren Pardo
Inventory Control
Born and raised in the Santa Maria area, Darren continues an extensive and impressive 20 year career specific to product distribution. In addition to managing inventory of all our on-line and off-line coolers, Darren manages inventories for materials that support the production and packing of our products and provides support to our sales team with any and all inventory related issues.
Clara Tinoco
Field Operations Coordinator
Born in Puebla, Mexico, Clara came to this country 12 years ago. Clara earned a masters degree in accounting in Mexico. Clara began working as an accountant for Freitas Bros before moving to Apio, Inc. five years ago. Clara joined Beachside two years ago as field operations coordinator. She provides valuable information and coordinates activities between growers, field operations staff, and the sales department. Her expertise allows us to accurately execute our supply information and is an integral part in our ability to accurately serve our customers and partner growers.
Rachel Bourbon
Grower Accounting
Rachel brings over 15 years of accounting experience to Beachside. Rachel works directly with the grower accounting supervisor preparing weekly grower statements, forecasting returns for our growers, processing adjustments, and works directly with field operations to provide harvest estimates.

Janelle McClory
General Accounting Supervisor
Janelle attended Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo where she earned her degree in Agribusiness with a concentration in International Ag Management and Accounting and a minor in Wine & Viticulture. Janelle has worked as an accountant in the produce industry since graduating from Cal Poly in 2000 and is a vital part of our administration staff.
Marina Nievez
Accounts Receivable
Marina provides accounts receivable support for our accounting staff in administration. Her responsibilities include collections, cash receipts, and setting up credit profiles for customers. Marina provides excellent support to our sales department and is our daily administrative contact with our customers.
Nina Newman
Accounts Payable
Nina is responsible for all accounts payable. She brings a variety of accounting experience to her position at Beachside. Nina also assists in the sales department.
