Harvest Manager
Born and raised in the Guadalupe area, Alfred has been involved in production agriculture for over thirty years. After attending Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, Alfred began a ten year career with Bruce Church in Salinas as a ranch manager of fresh vegetables. Combined, Alfred has been with Apio, Inc. and Beachside for over twenty years as harvest manager. Alfred brings a level of knowledge and professionalism in field production of fresh vegetables that is second to none. Alfred manages the field operations and grower relations for Beachside.

Assistant Harvest Manager
Luis began his produce career in production agriculture as a field worker harvesting strawberries at the age of twelve. Working his way through school, Luis earned a degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in production management from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. After two years as quality control manager, Luis became a field representative for Apio, Inc. managing the production of cauliflower, spinach, broccoli, artichokes and a number of other commodities for processing, value added and fresh market. Luis provides annual budget and supply forecasting for Beachside. His twenty plus years of production experience provides Beachside with a valuable field presence.

Field Supervisor
As field supervisor for Beachside, Efren is one of the key communication links between sales and our grower partners. In addition to providing supply forecasts to sales and demand estimates to our grower partners, Efren manages field production of our lettuce, green leaf, red leaf and romaine. Efren cut and packed cauliflower for eight years and operated field trucks for two years prior to becoming a field supervisor.

Field Supervisor
Baldo brings over twenty years of agriculture experience to Beachside. He began his career in production agriculture as a field laborer, cutting broccoli and cauliflower for eight years before becoming a crew foreman for West Coast Harvesting. Baldo offers critical information to our field staff regarding cauliflower volume estimates and field quality. Baldo is the point man for supply and quality in the cauliflower category for Beachside.

Field Supervisor
Eliazar brings twenty years of field experience to Beachside. Eliazar oversees the supply and quality for napa, bok choy and kale.
